Which FIFA game is best?

I have three weeks off with a broken foot and pwopa bored already. I've never played FIFA (or kissed a girl) but a mate has leant meant his PlayStation 3 as well as FIFA 04 and FIFA 07. And also Pro Evo III. Ain't ever played any of them cos I've been too busy getting smashed off my nut on acid.
First up can they play on a PS3 because the FIFA boxes say PS2? Secondly is is worth playing 04 or 07 or just buying a later one off EBay? Which one if so? Getting fatter every day. This will assist in my dweam of pwopa obesity.
Ps: is this gonna be a cunt to learn all the buttons n that? or are there any quick hints that will score me a wondergoal every game? Pwopa gonna get into this, 20 years late.

FIFA 2001.
Winger with speed of 7 dribbles down touchline half the pitch - cross - press Kick twice so that your forward does a bicycle kick - goal. Works every time.
Plus you can customize the kits and team names.

Is there a reason why they can't put the 5 a side indoor mode like they had in Fifa 98 (I think) into the newer ones. surely that would be a big selling point over PES.

I always liked FIFA Manager. Thought it better than FM, but it never sold well and they stopped making it.

FIFA 97 had the indoor mode. The reason we've not seen it since is that EA figured they could release a series based on it and called it FIFA Street.

Didn't they stop making Fifa street? It was garbage anyway.
I reckon the indoor mode would be quite popular. I wonder is it a licensing thing with futsal or something.

Ordered FIFA 15 cos it's only £9.50.
Seems more sensible than laying out 40 nuggets on FIFA 17.

The best one was the last one with the dive button and the intentional foul button. Hours of fun elbowing people and diving to win penalties.
It was shit after they removed those.
